Tanisha is a progressive LTE politician from the LTE Democratic Party. She was elected as the Southeast representative in April 2018 Elections. She was then re-elected in the May midterm elections.

Democratic Party Membership[edit | edit source]

After registering to vote, she joined the Democratic Party and ran for the Southeast House At-large seat as a Democrat.

Elections campaigns and results[edit | edit source]

April 2018[edit | edit source]

Soon after becoming an eligible voter, she announced her candidacy for Southeast House as a Democrat and faced no primary opponent. She received many endorsements after winning the primary and was able to win 55% of the vote in a hotly-contested seat against her Republican opponent, Hyper.

May 2018[edit | edit source]

Tanisha announced her reelection campaign soon after Oaks, another Democrat, announced intentions to run for the Southeast House seat. Being the incumbent, Tanisha was endorsed by many and easily won the primary. She received more endorsements after it was revealed that Johnygotfire was her Republican opponent, and Max was the Communist opponent. The election was won easily by her as she got 67% of the votes. She was elected as House Majority Leader after all representatives were inaugurated.

June 2018[edit | edit source]

Tanisha was reelected with 32% of the Southeast vote, out of 3 representatives elected in that district.

July 2018[edit | edit source]

On July 2, 2018 President Vui resigned after facing removal from office in the Senate after being impeached by the House. Tanisha was inaugurated and went through a series of vice presidential candidates until Franklin was accepted. On July 27, 2018 Tanisha announced that she would not be running for reelection, believing that she would be able to do more as a representative.
